Simplicity

Okay, first student post:
"As the world, which to the naked eye exhibits the greatest variety of objects, appears very simple in its internall constitution when surveyed by a philosophic understanding, & so much the simpler by how much the better it is understood, so it is in these visions. It is the perfection of God's works that they are all done with the greatest simplicity. He is the God of order & not confusion. And therefore as they that would understand the frame of the world must indeavour to reduce their knowledge to all possible simplicity, so it must be in seeking to understand these visions."--Isaac Newton

And yet it is true that everything works on very simple principles. Like that article Mr E gave us last week about how everything changes and grows just because it loves God (which I thought was a pretty cool idea). Everything is made up of very complicated elements...but when you get down to electrons and quarks and things, there are not so many different pieces to form a composite. On the other hand, with just a few of these things, God has made all of creation just by mixing them up in different combinations. Incredibly complex, but very simple and orderly at the basic level. It's amazing.
